The aim of the meeting is to summarise recent
advances in string theory, mainly concerning
mathematical aspects of the theory. Topics that
will be covered include black hole
state counting, AdS/QCD as well as different
aspects of topological string and field theory.
Each lecturer will give two to three lectures, and
there will be three lectures per day. There will
also be time for a few seminars by other participants.
The workshop will take place the week before the conference
Strings '08 at CERN.
